Statistics are a wonderful thing. Real time, this is what people are searching for on your site, statistics. If people are finding your website on a keyword or keyword phrase that fits into your site, build a page for it.

Never turn down unexpected free visits from Google or Yahoo or MSN, because if you are new, or not pulling in traffic, every visitor to your site is golden.

I recently had people hitting one of our websites because of a church in Florida issuing a 30 Day Sex Challenge.

So there I am, cup of coffee in hand, looking at the statiscal data on search engine hits, going WTF?

I researched the original articles, and there were a few because it was the pop news item of the day. I wrote my article, and hit the Digg button, as soon as I could. I went back into the article later and added the longest, cleanest, most professional looking video clip I could find from YouTube.

The church itself, helped me by their promotional efforts. Their site was so popular that day, their website crashed.

I milked the traffic on this for weeks.

So, get a good statistics program and and check it frequently. You never know when you'll be handed a lemon.
